Sylph is an icy teal blue holo microflake polish with a subtle gold-green shifting shimmer. This polish has both fine holo shimmer and larger holo microflakes in it, for an extra dimensional finish!
This collection has a formula that applies best if it’s allowed to dry for a couple minutes in between layers. A glossy topcoat will also bring out maximum holo and shimmer!
While the same shimmer pigment was used in all of the Fairy Magic polishes, the different base colors may make the shimmer effect pull mostly gold or mostly green. In this polish there's a blend of both, giving it an overall teal-green appearance.
Note that holographic polishes show their rainbow sparkle best under a source of bright, direct light, such as natural sunlight or a halogen bulb lamp. Swatch photos are taken in direct lighting, with a glossy topcoat, to best show the holo effect. In most holo polishes, there will still be some sparkle in indoor lighting, but the strong holo rainbow effect may be muted or it may look silver instead.
