Inspired by Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive series, this polish is a magenta-purple jelly base shimmering with holographic flakies. This color was inspired by the Alethi wines, which we find out in the series are sometimes dyed to achieve their bright colors. The color correspond with their alcohol content, and purple is the highest. This polish tends to look more magenta in direct sunlight and more purple indoors. For best results, apply this polish in thin layers, building to opacity in 2-3 coats. (This is essentially fanart and in no way officially affiliated with Brandon Sanderson or Tor publishing.)
Photos show 3 coats indoors and in direct sunlight.
Note that holographic polishes show their rainbow sparkle best under a source of bright, direct light, such as natural sunlight or a halogen bulb lamp. Swatch photos are taken in direct lighting, with a glossy topcoat, to best show the holo effect. In most holo polishes, there will still be some sparkle in indoor lighting, but the strong holo rainbow effect may be muted or not show up.
